Gold Mine Thrift LLC aims to provide a unique shopping experience to our customers, offering goods at a great value in a clean and organized space. We are environmentally responsible, recycling all cardboard and diverting and aim to provide the community low-cost quality merchandise, a fun shopping experience, and the opportunity to recycle items that might otherwise end up in landfills. We want to be YOUR #1 resource for donating unwanted, gently used goods.
Gold Mine Thrift opened in 2012 through the vision and hard work of Ms. Jessica Guyant with the idea of giving back to the community and to help local charities around our state. Her motto, “Stop in and treasure hunt at Gold Mine Thrift—You never know what you’ll find!”
Now under the new ownership of longtime Dillon resident Wendy Moxin Kunz, who purchased the shop in August 2018, this locally loved thrift shop will continue to serve the local community and visitors of Summit County with quality vintage thrift and threads generated by donations of friends like you!
Wendy has a marketing background and an entrepreneurial spirit, taking on this new venture while husband Tim runs his own local plumbing business Kunz Plumbing. She looks forward to providing a neighborly atmosphere working to help our residents and visitors dig up a deal! She strives to deliver the same friendly service and excellent value built and established by Jessica through the years. Look for Wendy to kick it up a notch in the shop’s online and offline visibility with more giving back to the community and customers through deals and partnerships with area businesses, as well as rewards programs. An online store will also be coming soon.
